Εvangelia Μichaloudi

Assistant Professor

BSc (Biology), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (1990)
PhD(Aquatic Ecology), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (1997)

Evangelia Michaloudi is an Assistant Professor of Aquatic Ecology at the School of Biology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since 2012.

She has research interests on zooplankton ecology focusing on food-web interactions in Mediterranean freshwater ecosystems, onintegrative taxonomy of zooplankton organisms (rotifers, cladocera, copepoda), on the use of zooplankton in ecological water quality estimation, on the diversity and the biogeographical patterns of zooplankton organisms as well as lake restoration and management.

She has participated in 14 national and international projects, and she has contributed more than 25 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 2 book chapters, as well as more than 50 other publications (i.e. conference proceedings, special publications, technical reports, newspaper and magazine articles). Her publications received over 400 citations (h-index=12).
